Loket
This town was established in the 13th century. It is dominated by gothic castle. It was the castle of Loket from where King Charles IV used to set out for his hunting expeditions. As legend tells us, during one of such hunts the king’s entourage came across a hot spring in Karlovy Vary. In 1979, Loket was proclaimed a municipal monument preserve.
