Cheb
This town situated in Western Bohemia is proud of many historical monuments, dominated by a 12th century castle. Several great architects were closely connected with Cheb, all of them enriching the town with numerous wonderful buildings. The history of Cheb is also tied with the big names such as Albrecht of Wallenstein, F. Schiller, and J. W. Goethe. From the MICE perspective, Cheb is suitable for small-size events.
- Founded: The first mentions of this border town dates back to the year 1061. However, Cheb was not promoted to a town until 1322 when its status was confirmed by Jan of Luxembourg.
